I looked on the JD Parts 4440 but I didn't see the blank plate. What models came with 1 remote standard? I could call and see how much they are, but also it would be nice to know the part number could possibly find one used. I may go ahead and have the SCV rebuilt, still trying to figure out whats the best economical decision. Do you have any opinion on running it with the internal leak? I know its hard to say, but in your experience would something like that cause further damage if I put off fixing it until after next harvest? Thanks so much. |

The remote is dead heading the pump. Somehow you need to remove the remote if you want to keep using the tractor. Can you unbolt it and run the in and out together? The remote and the linkage is causing the issue. It is probably a spring in the detent on the flow valve in the remote. It will cause many problems with the pressure plug that it is creating. |
