Good Day all,
Just bought this John Deere 4-Bottom plow, but it is new enough, I am unsure of model.
I am thinking an F.....something plow due to the Box Frame across the back.
It does NOT have quick release bottoms....
Also, is there any way to adjust the height of tail wheel lift...doesn't seem to lift high enough to suit me.
Finally, is there anyone who sells a reproduction stop for the lift mechanism for the removal of the hydraulic cylinder with the plow up?
Thanks!

| You can make the 2-position Stop-Pin pretty easy.. Ron. |

| Is the linkage for the rear wheel worn very much?
Maybe some welding and machining or even some new pins would give the clearance you need? |

| In your photo, that hole right above the land wheel tire in that lift link is for a transport pin, it goes into the frame hole ajaysent to it. Had a little anti loss chain originally . As for the tail wheel, there was a optional 4 bolt rim 15" to give more height and still plow .Any 15" or 16" JD 4 bolt rim should mount the hub. That described PIN , was also installed in the link for PLOWING. |

| The 15" tail wheel was an option on the F610, F620 plows. But I believe you will need to also replace the rear axle and hub. The small wheel hub is 3 bolt and the 15" wheel requires a 4 bolt hub. Also, the axle is longer to provide clearance for the 15" wheel. Attached is a picture of my F620 plow with the 15" wheel. Al |

| You could buy at TSC one of those ratchet type manual lift inserts. You would have to first lower the plow and remove the cylinder, put in the ratchet and manually lift up the plow until it is at the height you want it. They are not very expensive at the store. I used one my grain drill for storage and one a wheeled disk harrow so I could pull it on the road with my pickup. |

| My guess would be an F610AH, stiff standard, 3 and 4 bottom, 14 and 16 inch frames. The OM says you can move the rear wheel up or down by loosening the set screws and the collar at the top and slide the shaft up or down. "To adjust the rear wheel in order to get more transport clearance draw up the two hexagon nuts on the rear of the lift rod." |

| Just remember the adjustment for moving the rear wheel up or down is to make the rear wheel carry the proper amount of weight when the plow is working. It is NOT for obtaining transport clearance. The double nuts behind the spring on the rear lift rod are for that. Mike
