 All pics were taken yesterday and we use the cup elevator at the show here. The best way to find a cup elevator is to keep your eyes open for old corn cribs. You can tell by the style of the crib as to if it might have that type of elevator. And roger i did chop two short rows of corn with the ensilage cutter but i didnt get any pictures as the battery was almost dead on my cell phone. Also i had to use a 4410 to run it as we didnt have an adapter for the big shaft on Chris's Unstyled G. It worked pretty good but it would work better with green corn i think. You got to be careful about pluggin up the bottom gathering chain. I broke a big sprocket that drives all the gathering chains on the right hand side just playin around cutting corn stalks a week before harvest days. I got a new one from Deere but i got the last on they had. So dont make the same mistake with your cutter. |
