I bought a 1B corn sheller today for my son to use to de-husk walnuts. I had been watching auctions all summer hoping one would pop up. Finally one came up today and only 20 miles away and figured for as long as I had been looking and so close I was going to own it. Well I"m sure I paid to much but it seems the only thing missing is the fan. It has a eletric motor set up to drive it, just needs a new cord,(I hope) and we will be ready to husk. It looks to be an unpainted original so I might turn it into our first Father Son project. I paid 300 would it be worth that if we restore it? Thanks for any comments. Nathan |

| I'm of the opinion that it is too good to restore. Good original paint with good original decals it hard to comeby. Get an old junky one to restore... |
