have 416a mounted 3 bottom plow. cat 1 3x14s have after market 3 point. trac tires set at 51 inch inside to inside. proble is have 18 inches between plow point tip an iside of furrow tire. how to ajust to get a 14 inch cut... tnks

You will have to move your furrow wheel in to get proper cut on the first bottom.Jim

That plow was designed for the 420, 430, and 1010. You will have to move the furrow wheel in as far as it will go. The 810 and 810A are made for the larger tractors. Normally the rear wheel setting for the older mounted plow is about 25 inches from the center of the tractor to the inside of the wheel. and about 32 inches for semi- mounted plows. Also, don't use any sway blocks for plowing. If you think I am wrong read your plow manual, which I am sure everyone has. You can rotate the cross piece that the lift arms hook to for a limited cut adjustment.
