alvan 10-27-2012 10:24:06 65.185.14.200 Report to Moderator	I got a 37 unstyled a few months ago for a father son project.Some key parts were missing when we got it but have been able to get them for a good price.I have posted questions on here with diffrent problems and advice we have been having.Started out with could not get clutch to snap have all new clutch parts and still wouldn"t work.Determind to much end play in crank moved flywheel in as far as possible still no change in clutch or end play the only thing i know could be warn main bearing witch means crank would have to be replaced.Now is it worth putting anymore money in or anything i can check why have to much end play scrap prices are up right now.I always wanted a unstyle A was in 7th heaven when i got one but having second thoughts about this one. Do you have a good manual to go by? I bought a 35' this summer and yours sounds pretty sweet compared to what I'm working with. Right now I've got it in the storage shed, 3 pallats and the rear end. I don't think there's anything that Isn't stuck on it, needs rear wheels (hope to find steel). But man- what a challenge !!!!   [Reply]  [No Email]

You just have it turned true & when the bearings get back from being rebabbitted you size them to the crank. You've got something assembled wrong OR missing.   [Reply]  [No Email]

alvan 10-27-2012 13:28:09 65.185.14.200 Report to Moderator	Re: worth fixing in reply to husker44a, 10-27-2012 12:27:04   hsd to replace everything when i got it the clutch cover was on and when i took it off to check the clutch it was empty.So i had to buy two disk a driver and a ajustment plate i have check and reasembled 2 or 3 times and no change to much end play even tighting up the flywheel confused.I have a 45 A hand start that has end play and clutch works fine.   [Reply]  [No Email]

Use a worn one & a new one or 2 worn ones etc. Also, if you remove the whole pulley you can look at the T-bolts & dogs to see if worn excessively. There's a bearing & a bushing in therethat need clean grease also.   [Reply]  [No Email]
