Found a hard working 730 at a decent price but concerned that it is EXTREMELY difficult to get the transmission in most gears and out of most gears. Rolling the clutch doesn't help. Trying to go into 3rd seems like it hits solid inside the tranny before starting into the slot. Don't know anything about the transmissions in these. Does this sound serious/expensive? |

| If you're like me, save time and figure buying new bearings so after you've spent about $1500 in parts and nothing for your labor you're looking at a 6,500 dollar tractor. It's always much better to find one that someone else has puked up the money to fix if you want a good VALUE. my 2 cents Tyler |

| It may just be rust on the shift rails if it is simply stiff to the touch. |

| Hard to tell..it may be that the Clutch Brake is set too close, but from what you said, I think the shifter and shift forks will need checked... Ron. |
