I can mow a long way in peace and then hit a clump of really thick and heavy grass and then it clunks and clanks like a metal shucking noise pretty bad until I get back into the normal pasture grass. The only other time I ever hear a noise from this tractor is when I try to start out in 6th gear I get a few clunks till I get going BUT I'm not sure the two situations are related. The motor itself runs great so I'm thinking it has to be something from the clutch back? Maybe a bad bearing somewhere inside?? [Reply]  [No Email]
