Do yourself a favor and look into getting a taper lock flywheel for your A. We went through 2 factory flywheels on our 70G before we put one on with a taper lock. I can't remember who we got it from. I think it was from a guy in TN maybe. I know he had new flywheels, converted factory ones, or he would convert yours if it was sound.

If your lucky the f/w splines are not too damaged and still be able to set the crankshaft endplay. Put a bottle jack between the clutch and tire. Light pressure to hold crank to the f/w side of tractor. Then loosen the clamping bolts and tightening the big nut on the outside of flywheel to set end play. I think you want about 5 to12 thousandths play. Or side to side movement.

thanks for the reply But will this do anything for the front to back movement or dose having front to back play mean that the flywheel is well slopped out??
