Ran the neighbors 4430 powershift with a disc behind it. The idiot light comes on 45 minutes after running it. Temp gun shows the front hydraulic filter is alot warmer than the back one. Why is that? Thanks Jeff |

| Has anybody pulled the front sheet metal and cleaned every bit of 37+ years of accumulated muddy oil from the fins? Has anybody ever cleaned the trans oil screen? Has anybody ever drained and refilled the hydraulics with Hy-Gard? Has anybody ever changed the trams oil filters ? Some of those tractors eventually need the transmission pump "uptime" kit. This compensates for a worn pump and seepage from old seals. The idiot light indicates over temp or low pressure? Standard or low viscosity oil in the transmission? Is the idiot light sender in spec with the proper temp or pressure? |
