My buddy"s 4010 LP Standard won"t start. It ran fine a few weeks ago, but then all a sudden it won"t run. It will try to fire and then die.If you give it a little either, it just spits and sputters then dies. It"s full of propane and getting propane all the way to the carburetor. I also cleaned the carbuetor for him too. I don"t know where to look next. Any help is appreciated.

It's possible the fuel filter (parts key #12 AF1399R) is plugged. I presume since you state carb is getting fuel that solenoid(parts key #3) is clicking when ign is turned to on.

Ck to see if the air vent on the regulator has not been pluged up by a wasp.
Check your oil bath to be sure it has the oil in it.

How do you know if full of propane, gauges usually dont work, take line off and see how much fuil is comming out when turned on when you turn key on, I alwaye take a srewdriver and push in on the value you fill it up at, if the button stays in. its out of fuil.second thing make sure you dont have a hole in diapham.dont smoke while working around lp.Another think starting an lp tractor correctly is inportant and shut it off is important too. Its opposite of gas when you start it, taking away the fuil will act as choke to an lp tractor.
