I have a JD 510C backhoe that a fellow is keeping on my property. It was sitting for a year, so I decided to move it around. I had to get a new starter switch and a pre-heater switch for it. I have an operators manual coming. I was doing a search on the internet for starting the backhoe and and found an old post from this site. Someone was asking about hard starting on the same type of backhoe and was told to put on a "destroker". What is a destroker? and what does it do?

| a destroker cuts out the hydrolic pump. this means less work to the starter motor.
