I need to replace bushings in the steering knuckle of my 310C backhoe. Is it necessary to remove the hub to drive the kingpin out the bottom? The top bushing is almost gone and I suspect the lower bushing is the same. The seal on top is missing also. I have the bushings and a seal but am unable to get the kingpin to move at all. I have removed the bolt that goes through the assembly and have used a soft steel rod to drive it out. I am applying PB Blaster but no luck getting it to move yet. Any one got any advice? |

| I would suspect you will need to heat the knuckle red hot, then drive pin out. |
