Or more specifically what model and age planter does it fit?
I pulled two of them from a barn with all contents going to scrap. Is there any interest out there for these or should I put them back? Located in NE SD.

Straw Boss, I was looking for theSafety Fertilizer directions I knew I had. In addition to the 999 they also are listed for 335, 435, and 535 planters. Hope you can find a good home for them.

Right on, don"t scrap. They fit a 999 and probably some others. I have a restored 999 with the exact "safety Fertilizer" option.

I"ve also seen them on the back of JD 290 planters on the fertilizer platforms. Rather desirable.I sold a set for $160!!

Not seeing the whole framing I believe it is an early side dresser. The Safety Fertilizer units were also used on the 999 corn planters.

Sorry. Here's a better picture.
If there's any interest, I'll be going to Sioux Falls sometime this week. Can deliver to the area or hold them if need be also. I just don't need them around here as not my brand. Just don't think they should go to scrap. Thanks.

Wish I had a use--they should NOT go to scrap. IMHO.
