Have a JD 2640 was running fine. Engine abruptly stopped. Won't start. Have fuel pressure at injector pump. No output to injector lines at injector pump. Have removed return line check valve, seems clear. Pump has manual shut off. Anyone have any ideas? |

| Tim, I took the ell off as you suggested. No change. How much pressure should be coming from the fuel pump? I can shut it off with my thumb. |

| I had a similar problem this summer and the return valve on the return fuel line on the injector pump had fallen apart. However, mine would after it set for a while and then start. Is you pump a standyne if so this maybe your problem mine did not look blocked either. If this is the problem it is expensive to get the pump rebuilt but its the only way to fix it. |

| Try running it with the check valve out, just leave the complete fitting out to see if it will start and run. The check valve is clear so you can "look" through it, and it can still be plugged.. |
