chris hill 09-09-2012 18:26:32 75.246.41.223 Report to Moderator	I have a 45 john deere h that idles fine and starts decent but wont rev up. I you try to throttle it up it sounds like you just pulled a kill switch. Sometimes if you press the lever real easy it will take gas. Any help will be appreciated. [Reply]   [No Email]

I talked to a couple of guys who are Marvel Schebler carb gurus. They said the carb needs rebuilt. I just sent it to Dennys Carb Shop in Fletcher, Ohio. Costs about $300.00 and they clean, resurface, replace everything and bake a coat of paint on. 3 days in their shop plus shipping time. Good luck. Start it unhook the throttle at the carb. Run the engine like that. IF no difference then I would say its the carb. IF it runs 100% better I would say you have governor problems.
