Has anybody ever put a swivel seat on a 4020? I see John Deere has a swivel assembly for 30 through 60 series tractors I'm thinking about ordering it and see if I can make it work?
Any ideas thanks Shaun

I built a swivel base for the seat in my 5020 years ago. Cut a circular plate out of eighth inch sheet and cut a bunch of slots in it and took an old roller bearing apart and put the rollers in the slots and put it between two other plates and made a locking assembly to hold it 45 degrees left or right and bolted it to the base and put the seat on top. Probably took me a day to design and build it and cost about five dollars. I was at Wal Mart awhile back and saw they had pre made swivel plates for fishing boat seats. Thinking about one day getting one and making a swivel seat for a Case tractor I drive. Whole lot cheaper than spending several hundred dollars for a whole seat.
