Have this 1936 D thats been sitting close to ten years. Cranks over, but heard a noise and stopped. Got the rocker cover off, full of rust. Looks like the rockers are froze to the shaft. Once I get them freed up, is there a trick to knocking the shaft out of the head? Looks like remove the two water inlets from the ends, then the rocker shaft is open, are there pins or keepers I am not seeing? Am oiling things down with Kroil, going to get the valves moving, then rockers, will only take the shaft out if necessary. Suggestions? |

Could be it's the same as the styled....look at that parts catalog. It shows two "set" screws one each end, driving in from the backside. |

| Check out JDPARTS and search for "d". It"ll give ya an exploded view of every part on that tractor (very handy). |
