Years ago Grandpa had a B, I am not sure what year it was, but it had the pressed steel rims. Does anyone know when the B"s had pressed steel rims compared to the cast hubs. Was it during WWII? The link shows the pressed wheels

| Will P, All styled B's did not all have pressed steel center wheels as steel wheels and skeleton steel wheels were still available. I have a 1943 B on spoked cut-offs and they are the original wheels!

| Oh what ever. I guess I should have said, All styled B's COULD come with pressed steel wheels. I also have a 43B but with cast rears. I wish all you nit pickers would shut the f up.

| Any B could be equipped with either pressed steel or cast rear wheels from 1939-1952.

| Cast wheels were available as an option. I have seen a few of them so equipped. The page below shows the serial number breakdowns for the particular casting number. [/img]
