I went to see this combine about 10 days ago. It belongs to a widow who has sold the farm and has to move the machine. Her son had it running when I got there and it seems to run good. It has always been inside and has not been used in at least 15 years. It has 13 ft cutterhead with bat reel,4RW corn head (non quick attach) cab, chopper and gas engine. S.N is 14534. From what I saw of it this machine would go to the field with minimal work. I cannot justify another machine and have no storage. If anyone else is interested let me know,it is too good to scrap. Machine is located in SW Ontario about 1 hour east of Detroit Mi. Asking $1000. Bob |

| It is a Square Back. As far as the border I don't know other than when we ship iron stateside it has to be really clean (no dirt under the floor mats in the cab etc) One of our neighbours bought an airseeder in Mi. last fall, drove the tractor to the ferry at Sombra, picked up the seeder and brought it back on the ferry. Wouldn't that 105 on the ferry make quite a picture? |

| Is this machine a round back? And how hard would it be to get acrossed the border? |

| The corn special was only made the last couple years of production so it is not a roundback. We used to haul a lot of combines across the border and the main thing you have to worry about is to have it CLEAN. If there's any dirt anywhere you won't get it across the border. They will be checking the serial # of both the head and combine. Ours were used in the harvest and were brought back into the US after harvest so I'm a little foggy about the documentation needed for a machine bought in Canada. Canadian bought machinery crosses the border into the US every day. Jim |
