Not much of a tractor guy but a customer of mine trucked a John Deere mdel A tractor to my shop and would like a snowplow affixed to the front, my question is does anyone have a photo of this setup? I am not quite sure how to deal with the spacing of the narrow front wheels I can build a frame wider than the wheel turning radius but may look stupid, the owner of said tractor told me there are lots of them out there for snowplowing, any pics would be greatly appreciated

Here's a couple pics of a cable-lift ABG-90 on my '48B

You would be looking for an ABG 90 snow plow. The manuals can be found as well as the parts catalogs. I think the parts catalog number is PC2228. I put a link below. Where are you located?

I dont have a picture, but I have seen some where the blade is lifted by a cylinder attached to the pairs of big studs in the front post above the wheels (not unique to A"s, my grandfather had one on his John Deere H), and the bracing for the blade goes back to the rear axles. I have a Model 45 loader on my 1950 A that has a snow scoop addition to the bucket, and that works well. Also, there was a snowplow blade option for the Model 45 loader.

Hope these help. Sorry I have no pics of those front mounted plows.
