pto wont come to a complete stop !! doese it have a brake like the older 2020,2030s or what? and it is independent pto,open station tractor, THANKS for any help

| 2755 has a disk type pto brake in what I would call the pto clutch manifold (Deere calls it a drum). Shown on the same page as pto clutch in JDParts. It is a lot better brake than older models. As previously stated check pressures to see what is going on.

Are you certain that the 2755 pto control valve has brake test port?? correction:Cliff explained that it must have test port.

| Anybody ever have a heavy inertia load such as a forage blower or rotary cutter spinning at rated rpms? Then disengage the pto and smoke the brake?
Just to be certain, what is the clutch and brake apply and rest psi's?
Is the pto just windmilling in the trans oil or does it vary with engine rpm such as a dragging clutch would indicate?

| If you're referring to hyd ind pto I couldn't find a pto brake lining(RE43393) such as a 2020 has in the 2755 parts catalog.
