Will the front grills and nose cone off a 47 B fit on a 39 B?I think the wire in grills are a twisted screen, does anybody reproduce it? Also what year hood will fit on the 39?

| Just the early 39 B's had the twisted wire in the grilles.

| According to parts manual, the '39 and '40 hood is the same. The nose cone and grills are the same for all B's. Hoods are different for 1941 to about 1947, and different again for later models.

| The grills from 1939-52 are the same. I think I read here the wire mesh is reproduced but someone else will have to tell you who does it. Don't know on the hood.

| If it's like the "A", only a 39 hood will fit, but,
that's not to say you can not slightly adjust a 40
and later hood to fit.
