I am in the process of converting a 3 bottom plow to a 2 bottom. I think its an 810, its certainly one of the 800 series. I have not yet pulled the bottoms apart to search for parts numbers on the bottoms, however I was pressure washing it today and brought up a number on the top of the moldboard. Now I was pretty sure just by eyeball its a 16 inch HS bottom. Its in faded paint near the JD logo. The number is HS 324NC on both moldboards,[not a typing error 324]. I was hoping someone with the books could identify it.

Thanks for the information folks. I did go to JDparts and found it, sure helps to know what to ask for, cause I got nowhere the first time I searched it.
New question does anybody know what the difference/function of the narrow cut vs the full cut is?

The only diffrence between the NC and FC bottoms is the share bolted on. The full cut completly slices the furrow slab and the narrow cut leaves a strip of the soil atatched to act as a hinge to aid in flipping the furrow slab over.

If you look up catalog number 1308 you will find the High Speed bottoms. I was not familiar with the 324 bottom but by the number you can tell it is a High Speed bottom, 3-bolt share, originally set up as a Full Cut share. Mike

I made a mistake. I thought your ID said "FC". The "NC" means narrow cut. Sorry for the confusion. Mike

If you go to the JD online parts catalog, enter "Plow Bottoms" in the model search. That should tell you everything you want to know.
