When were the 55abh plows made? Also when was the first trip bottom or reset bottom made in a JD? |

| The first trip plows were the mounted 812 and 813 plows for the 800 hitches. I would say around 53-54. The 555 and 444 didn't arrive on the scene until 56-57. |

| The first *trip* bottoms came out with the #444H 2 btms and #555H,3btms,and up 4&5,s.. The (increased trips which had the double box beam on top of the frame came known as MODEL # 620H |

| The 55 plow was discontinued and the 56ABH was changed to the 55ABH in 1946. I believe the first trip plow would have been the No. 2 introduced in 1914. |
