Went to look at a B Its a hand start thinking it is the early 40,s it has a box behind the flywheel with a handle that moves left and right. Is the a overdrive and what do they call it?

| What would this option ad to the value of tractor?The B is in fair shape not run in years but turns over I am thinking in between 5-800 dollars?

| I priced Behlen overdrives for "A" tractors recently for my BIL and the going price seemed to be $1000 and up. He decided to drop it. Hope this helps.

| most likely a Behlen overdrive... gives you a nice road gear, but can be a real finger pincher on a hand start.
