my john deere g is set up. it has been set up for about 6 mounts. i was wondering the best why to get to the cylanders to lube them. i just but new oil in it. i have sprayed pb blaster in the spark pluges. |

| i have a tool that sucks fluid out of a container and blows it out a nozzle. it works off of air pressure. i think i got it at macmaster carr. you could use a thing that looks like an oil can but you can pressure rise it and use it to blow your fluid out of it and be able to turn it where it would go all the way around the pistons. |

| pb blaster I dont think has much oil in it,its meant to penitrate, I go to wal- mart and buy something called fog, its for engines that sit up and you dont want them to stick. good luck ,Rick |

| | You might try to get a witches brew of Diesel fuel and auto tranny fluid and brake fluid into the cylinders via the plug holes and let it soak and flush and do over, of course, this is gonna contaminate that new oil and the brew doesnt get all around like on vertical piston engines, Im just thinkin of gettin her unstuck first. In case any valves are stuck to avoid bending pushrods you may wanna remove the valve covers then rocker arm assembly. If its stuck real bad then youre lookin at removing the rod caps and the whole block with pistons intact John T |

| | John, Just had experience at having to remove the block with pistons/rods from my 1938 B tractor. I think it had been stuck for 20 years before I got it. What a pain that turned out to be. The crank was in such a position that the number 2 rod would hit the camshaft in a way that made it impossible to pull the block. I finally removed both main bearing assemblies from the crankshaft so I could move the crank a couple of inches to the rear. This let the rods drop free of the crank, and I was able to pull the block. Found a governor weight sitting on top of the camshaft. The side of the bore on number two cylinder was caved into the water jacket. I think she dropped a governor weight, went into an overspeed situation and blew out the side of the block. This brought things to a halt real quick. Number two piston also had cracks at the piston pin boss. Both sides. Kurt |

| | At least long enough that it has a chance to drain (if it ever does), that way its working its way past the rings, but unfortunately, the top 1/2 may not be getting much help.. Then get it in high gear with the clutch engaged n see if rocking/turning/pulling the wheels gets her to turn some??? John T |
