My 1939 B has narrow 5.5 wide rear rims. It has different size rear tires right now. Left rear is 11.2-36 Harvest King. Right rear is 11-36 Seiberling. I need to replace both tires. Since it looks like I have the old style narrow rims, I'm leaning toward buying new 9.5-36 tires to be more in line with the original size. I found that this tractor was originally equipped with 7.50-36 Goodyears. What size tires are others using on the narrow rims? Any advice? |

| | In the Jul/Aug 96 Two Cylinder magazine, they say from serial number 60000 through 81792, B, BN, and BW tractors could be equipped with flat spoke or cast iron wheels for 7.50-36 or 9.00-36 rubber tires. So that would be all 1939 models and less than 800 1940 models. At serial number 81793, the options were pressed steel or cast iron rear wheels with rims available to fit from 8-38 to 11-38 tires. |

| | These 36in. round spokes came off "Lazarus" our 40B and are now on "John B" our 43B.
The tires are 11.2 x 36. |

| Thanks for the picture James. The 11.2s look good on yours. I'll have to find pictures of the narrower ones to compare. Here's a link to pictures of my 39B (SN67877). |
