If you are trying to slow down a 50 a set of 520/530 diff & bull gears will do the trick. if you are trying to speed up a 520/530 then a set of late B or model 50 diff & bull gears are in order. If I recall correctly. The info is in JD parts.

Actually what im trying to do is slow down a Mid 40's. I have a set of first reduction gears out of a Late B that i can make work with some machining. That will slow it down about 5%. I was hoping for about 10%. I looked in the parts books today at work (Im a parts guy at a Deere dealer) but it doesnt give tooth counts for the first reduction gears on the 50-530.
