Has anyone ever heard of; or seen a modern sound-guard cab modified and fitted on a 630 or 730 row-crop John Deere ? Obviously, provision would have to be made for the belt pulley wheel and the fly-wheel housing and the fact that the operator platform is so far forward.I have seen a photo of a sound-guard cab on a 4020 and it looked good ! The curve and profile of the 4020 hood just seemed to 'fit' with the cab. I think the hood lines of a 630 or 730 would look good with the sound guard cab, but don't know if it has ever been done (or could be done). |

| Thanks 960 and Wilamyb for your responses. The link you gave to the you-tube video of that doubled up 830 is cool to watch. They simply set the sound-guard cab up high to avoid the fly-wheel and pulley wheel issues. |

| | Thanks Wilamayb and 960 for your replies. The You-Tube video of the 830 plowing is really cool, it looks like they mounted the cab up high to avoid the pulley wheel and fly wheel housing. |

| Here is an interesting take on the SGB on a 2 cylinder. |

| I have given it alot of thought. It would shorten the hood distance quite a bit as the seat sets back on a two cyl. The biggest challenge looks to be fitting the door-flywheel area. Never had enough spare cash to aquire the body and experiment as they sell well. Somebody should do one though. |
