I see a couple of pages back, I'm beening asked about.

Well,,,,,, the big fight is still on. Weather I'm winning or not is still up in the air.

I'm home for the weekend, but tommarow I have to be back at Milwaukee's VA Hospital for 5 more days of radiation, then home for the weekend and then one more week of Radiation, then a weekend off and then I transfer back to the VA Hospital at Madison Wisconsin for more CHEMO treatments.

I'm loaded head to toe and because of all the places,,,it's incurable. The only hope is to slow it down and maybe get it into remission and get me some more time.

Nothing will change around here except for the addition of a mobil home that son Pat and his wife and that little cowboy parner of mine, Shawn, will totally take over.

The place will still be HANLEY HEREFORD RANCH with two banger JD 'S. We've set up a parnership between Pat and my wife and my wife will remain in ythe main house til it's time for her to go.

I may be here a couple of months yet or maybe able to hang around for a couple or years yet. It's all up to God. My local preist stops once a week to see me and give me comunnion.

Have good days and bad days. Had the 630 down to the show last week at Westby, but could not have done it with out the sons and the grandsons........WHAT A GREAT FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for asking. I do love this site and like helping people. At 60 there's 50 years of "STUFF" on JD both in the brain and on paper in the back office.

We lost my wifes uncle last spring to the big "C". He had retired from the Deere foundry in Moline and was in Mountain Home Arkansas, had a styled B' that was cherry. Don't let em plug you in, fight it all the way. May the Lord Give you and your family strenght and peace in this time of your life.

Mike, I wish you all the strength you need in this battle. I've enjoyed reading your posts and sharing your joy of our little green hobby. But the love of the hobby pales in sight of love of family and friends. You are friend of many here and I hope that our love will help pull you through. All the best Big Guy!!!

We have three things in common although we have never talked. Our love for family, our love of Deere tractors and our disease.I too have been battling lymphoma for going on 8 years now.In remission for the second time right now.As you know attitude is everything with cancer.NEVER give up buddy.God is good and I lay both my remissions on to all the prayers said for me and His good Grace.I pray the same for you.Hang in there.I know chemo and radiation can be really tough.Been there ,done that too.We both have too much to live for than to simply give up.

I'm saddened with your news. We were beginning to wonder here at Ymag what had happened to you and hoped it wasn't this serious.
It must be some comfort to know the place will carry on in your family for generations to come. And someday your Grandson will drive/use Grandpa's 630 and the 730's you solved all the hard to find and $$$ glitches.
My parents are at that age and have some health conditions where it's expected they could go at any time. Trying to make the most know along with the children. One of the reaosns for moving back to the home area last year.
Didn't you suffer an extensive length of hospitalization and rehab after serving your country in Vietnam?
