What is a super sweep on a 273?

I think it is the larger pick-up with more tines but I am not sure. Please let me know.

Brochure for NH 268,269,272 & 275 balers says "super sweep" has 120 pickup teeth as compared to 48 for conventional system.

A 273 with a super sweep has tines closer together as compared to one without. I don't think the pickup itsself is any wider but I'm no expert. My grandpa has one without a super sweep and it's not terribly good in thin crops but it does an acceptable job. The 273 is quite a good baler if you don't have a lot of acres to bale.

Yes, the supersweep has at least twice as many teeth as the regular pickup. Really great for second or later cuttings as it will pick up almost any tiny wisps of fine grass. Jim.
