I have one I still use that my father or grandfather bought new. I will check to see if it has a model number. It has 14" tires on it and a 14' bed with hydraulic hoist. Was used with racks for ear corn years ago.

Try looking on ebay under cockshutt, they used ewc for their running gears.

Looked on there and saw a brochure like the one I put on here for a Cockshut Oliver 5024/5026 gear for sale. They look about like this one. I wonder if it is the same gear but different numbers are because it's a Cockshutt Oliver sold gear? At any rate I have a question out to the seller. My hubs have the nuber 0455A stamped into them. Maybe I can track it that way. Thanks for the info!!

I at one time had a product listing sales pamflet that listed several models but as this time I have no idea where it is. I know Deere did make owners manuals as I have then for the 953 & 963 gears.

I bought a couple of new EW wagons years ago and never even heard of any manuals.

| | Would there have been an owners manual even printed for a running gear? I have bought 3 new wagons and gears in my life and none of them came with a manual. Maybe I just never asked for one and so they never gave me one. Gary |

Thanks guys, maybe there aren't any. I'm having some trouble getting signed up on here so I can't post pictures yet. When I get it figured out ill post the ad I have for the EWC 650 wagon. It looked like there was more to it, I could be wrong. Maybe you've seen it on the antique tractors web site. I'm in the process of doing a total restore on what I think is a 1951 or newer EWC model 650 running gear wagon. It's got a 5 bolt wheel on it. What's the load rating for this gear??? Also on the ad it shows an option for "spring" bolsters. Mine had one spring bolster on the front. Looks from the ad it's suppose to have one on the back also. I'm missing the spring. The serial number tag is missing off the rear end of it so I probably will never know if this gear was made by EWC FOR ANOTHER COMPANY or it was sold as one of there's. I've got a lot of questions. Would like to talk to a EWC "Gear Head"!! LOL
