About your Grimm parts, I called my parts guy and he's going to check with Leader this coming week to see if they have old-stock parts and/or prices. |

I talked to them this week. They do not have any gears left to sell and do not plan on making them. They have belts and tedder teeth that about all. I could also use a center gear.

I would part with one of the little gears but not the center one. I suggest you keep an eye on Craigs List for a parts one.

Find an area were there are Amish, they will know of a place to get parts. There are lots of them still in use in Amish areas. We had several over the years and liked them untill we bought a rotary. The rotary do a better job and are so much faster, but for a smaller operation the bar type will get the job done. Also try Fry's Machinery in Muncy PA as they have a huge implement salvage yard.

Those are more than likely Pequea brand. I sold their products. Their ground drive unit does not use any gears that I know of. I think they are all pulley/belt driven. I only sold the PTO driven units. HE maybe better off switching his over to PTO drive. All he would need is a right angle gear box and some shafts. Here is the contact information for Pequea: Pequea, A Skibo Company • 200 Jalyn Drive P.O. Box 399, New Holland, PA 17557 • (717) 354-4343 or toll-free (866) 684-0393 Here is pictures of the ground drive and PTO Pequea units.

David can you post a few picture of what your tedder looks like?? Plus some pictures of the gears you need. This way maybe we can come up with a substitute for them.
