The Operator"s Manual for a JD 290 corn planter has detailed instructions/diagrams on check planting.I believe I have all of the equipment needed to try it but as yet I haven"t had the time. Thanks, Art

| You can see the operators manual for a JD 490 planter online.....JD parts.com. You can actually flip through the pages on the screen. There is a diagram in there that shows how to lay out the wire, etc..

| we do check planting at our show each year, some movies on youtube that we made, put in fulblast1, should get you there, rod
