This is a McCormic plow that I own. I have no idea what model it is. It is a 3 bottom, fast hitch plow. 2 of the 3 Moldboard are broken as you can see. I was wanting to get those replaced, but I thought it would be best to understand the model of plow it is first. Dont know the cost of moldboards lately but it might be cheaper to get a different plow maybe? Any help identifying would be greatly appreciated.

Model 311. Probably Super-Chief bottoms, although hard to tell from the pic angles. Ditto Farm 560.

It's a 311. Missing the rear solid steel tail wheel assembly and that is not the correct depth wheel assembly.

That makes sence to me now that the tail wheel is missing. I got the plow with that add on wheel and when I pull it the very end of the plow sometimes drags. I had thought something needed to go on the back end of it where there should be a tail wheel.

Model 311. Likely will have High Speed bottoms, very few had the Plow Cheif type with the seperate point.Number(s) on the back of the moldboards will give you something to go on,parts wise.Case/IH/NH/whoever owns them this week can supply Super Cheif parts, along with Shoup, and C-T Farm and Country,I guess.

It might be easier to find complete bottoms than parts for your old bottoms. The bolt pattern is the same on all IH frogs and standards.

Not sure of the model, although the frame is similar to my 60 trailer plow.

Are the bottoms the type with a separate plow point in front of the share? Can't tell by the pictures. Otherwise, if it is just a one piece four-bolt share, then you have Super Chief bottoms and parts are easy to find for that. Cost has gone up with steel prices, but lots of folks carry Super Chief parts.

IH made so many different plow models with no rhyme or reason.

However, you don't get moldboards by plow model. Despite the dozens of different plow FRAMES, the bottoms are "implements" unto themselves.

The only plow bottoms you can still reliably obtain replacement parts for are the Super Chief bottoms. These are still manufactured, and parts are readily available at CaseIH dealers, many Tractor Supply stores, and several places online.

Unfortunately, I cannot make a 100% positive ID as to what type of bottoms your plow has from the pictures. A "full frontal" view of the good bottom, with the leaves and debris cleared away, would help.

New Super Chief moldboards are over $100 each, but you can look a long time for another decent plow.
