| I am not sure of the model of my old windpower alternator so I am not sure how it relates to yours. I had to clean up the slip rings with emery cloth to get mine to work. It had sat for probably 30 years without working and didn't need to be flashed just cleaned up. |

| | You will have to remove some shields most likely. You need to find two wires marked F1-F2. F1 will be the positive wire F2 is negative. If this generator has a regulator. Unhook these two wires from it. Hook a wire from the battery negative post to F2. Then with the positive wire touch F1 very quickly. Just a tap should do it. Then hook up the wires to the regulator. |

| directions say to disconnect f1&f2 from bridge rectifier , you are flashing the SHUNT field coils (this is what I am not sure what it means should I connect the wires from the battery to the little square silver box or to the wires that go back into the generator to the 4 rectangle shaped (armature ? not sure what they are called ) |

| You should unhook the wires from the bridge. You want to feed battery voltage only to the wires going into the generator section. Just a quick tap should do it. |
