Anyone out there have enough of the original metal ribbon seed drop tubes for a JD Van Brunt tractor drill? A couple of the seed cups these tubes attach to would also be nice. I have the rubber drops. They kink, The flex rubber tubes come off and the obvious result is a skip. The drill otherwise is in good shape. But she may be headed to drill heaven if I dont find these parts, |

| We just use 1" hose on ours. We have a couple original metal drops on the grass seeder part, but most have been replaced by hose. It drops in front of/next to the coulters and the alfalfa stand always looks good.
Scrapping a drill for such a simple part seems to be a waste...

| | Use the flex rubber drops and attach them with a piece of 17guage wire wrapped around the funnel on the top. I have been using the flex rubber ones for twenty years and would not go back to either the hard rubber or the metal ones. If you would like I will email you a picture of how mine are installed. | I should have a few good metal tubes and maybe a couple real good boxes for them..left over from our Van Brunt 13 hole drill.. Not sure about sending them..never sold anything on here like that.. I also have a few good parts for a JD 116W Baler.. Springs, shear pins, a couple good wire guides with wheels..I think one Pick-up shoe (same as new)..may even be a few Plunger knives somewhere.. Ron.. |
