Posted the other day regarding bearings and have dug deeper into the wobble box and put my parts list together. Bearings are easy enough from the bearing supply, they are on the way. The part I need is #242048 shield that is over the bearings to the side of the shaft. It appears that not only do the protect the bearing but also locate it in place. One bearing had pushed thru, and the shield is ruined. Messicks is looking but has not called back ...... Any body have one, "Old" I saw in a post in a goggle search that you had some parts mowers and I believe you are relatively close. I'm near central Arkansas. Thanks. |

| Never mind, amazing what stopping to put something in an empty stomach will do for clarity of thinking, there's no way that stamped steel cover was designed to take those side forces, I have other clearance issues on the bearing. |
