To use with one person you need trailers or truck with sides. Before going to rounds, I used a couple of summers with some old kicker wagons I got - Just had to lower the left side a bit in 2 places for the loader. A real godsend! [Reply]   [No Email]

That might be an idea. I could leave the grain racks on the truck (assuming the pop-up is taller than the racks). How heavy did you make your bales. I usually make mine around 60lbs. Would worry a bit about the bales popping apart as they landed on the bed. [Reply]  [No Email]

More like 40 I guess. I was baling with an old Ford 250 PTO baler and an 8N. Was a struggle with heavy windrows, and the baler didn't like heavy bales. Wouldn't miss a single knot in 500 or 600 bales if I kept it set like that. The bales were pretty dense, just shorter, and stayed together OK. I think I managed to attach a pic of my bale loader with a regular flat bed JD hay wagon (1942) and our '44A. Couldn't find one with a wagon with sides. [Reply]  [No Email]
