took the old plow to the garden for a test run this afternoon,it did great, but i still had to used the chain stabilizer on the right side as it wanted to pull to the left. so i brought it back to the shop and loosen all the adjustment nuts and bolts that control the rear guide wheel. made some adjustments that would steer the guide wheel more to the right. will see how it does after the adjustment, but it did a good job plowing and kicked out a few more old tree roots. That is the beauty of an old disc plow, instead of getting hung up on roots/rocks, etc: it just kicks then out or rolls over them and you never have to slow down. Fun old plow to use, you know me, I march to a different drummer.
