Neither looking at the manual or inspection, can I find these 3 fittings. If they exist how do you get to them. The manual displays the three grease fittings and recommends lubrication every 10 hours. The photos below show all three of these fittings. The grease fitting on the top is for the two cone bearings in the crank housing. You might need to rotate the flywheel until it can be reached. The grease fittings in the middle and on the bottom are for the rear drive head pivot cone bearings. On the bottom of page 32 the grease fitting for the crank/drive yoke bearing is displayed and recommends lubrication every 10 hours. The photo below shows the location of the hidden, "secrete" grease fitting for the crank/drive yoke bearing. You might need to rotate the flywheel until it can be reached. Hope this helps. So the zerks shown on pic 1 and 2 are the same ones, I was thinking their was 3 on the bottom. The other issue is the end of the sickle is about 1/8 inch above the bar and is riding hard on the ledger plate. It looks like I need more shims. James Howell 09-27-2012 09:13:32 75.230.149.103 Report to Moderator	Re: John deere 350 mower in reply to jdman(mo), 09-27-2012 07:48:07   Installing an end "section-and-a-half" on the end of the knife is a very good idea. It will help eliminate any grass clogs at the outer shoe. You will need to remove the knife hold-down clip on the end of the cutter bar. Remove the old knife section. Remove the outer shoe and shims. Install the rivets or nuts and screws on the end section. Replace the outer shoe and shims. There are three sizes of shims: .007, .020, and .030. Suggest using a couple of the .020 and .030 shims as necessary. Use lock nuts on the plow bolts that secure the outer shoe. Be sure to check the clearance on the stripper and new end section.
