Hey all, I"ve got a 336 square baler that runs great right now. I have replaced pitman arm bushings and pin with new parts from deere last year. I was also looking at replacing the feeder arm bearings and a few other parts from JDParts.com. I was looking for a part for my tractor on there today and my shopping cart still had some baler parts in it. The problem is that most of them have red flags now showing that the parts are no longer available. That is not a good thing for me at all. I got this baler over an older NH because I thought the parts availability was going to be great for a long time to come. Is it really going to be hard to get parts for this thing from now on or will parts from newer square baler match up perfectly with my 336? Hope that this issue is solvable as I LOVE the baler, I just want to make sure I can keep it running for years to come.
Thanks!

-Kelly

JDKelly: Rod and TXjim both have it correct. The flags just mean your dealer does not have them in stock. If your dealer is a multi store one then they may have them at other locations. Ours here run a parts van between stores twice each day. Makes getting the parts much easier. Then TXJim is right as just about every part for a JD 336 is still available.

JD hasn't changed the design of their sq bales very much since the 336/346 were introduced. Nearly all the parts on the models built today will fit your baler. At this point you have no part supply problems.

Red flags only mean it's not on your facing dealer's shelf at the moment, supposing that it's even correct. I've had no trouble getting any parts I needed for my 327 baler although most of it does have to come from the warehouse overnight...
