Some of You Guys that are Familiar with the InternationaL 500 5ft bush hog, what is the recomended height for best cutting results, i bought it new and as You know it had to be pasrtially assembled... and Seems it's not cutting very "low" maybe give a me a designated HOLE setting as there are about 4 avail. | No matter what holes you use on the rear, the front of the unit should be slightly lower than the rear for the best cut. You will note there are "skids" on the front edges; try not to make them actually skid. Also if you have a bunch of big rocks, stumps etc, that you are going over the higher you cut the better. If the area to be cut is free of debris, ie. just grass, set the front lower than the rear, make a judgement on how high/low you want to cut, make the nec. adjustment to the rear wheel via the "holes...Hope this helps.
