Local Massey dealer shocked me a couple months ago, I was getting some parts for our 165. I was looking for a bushing that goes in the brake pedal, a spring, and a few other things. They had all but 1 item in stock, but that part was a real oddball.

Of course I still need to install them, but it's gotten pushed back on the priority list through out the summer.

Didn't think I could change my spots either til about ten years ago. It's just too easy to get used to getting good service and parts when you want them. The old loyalties start to fade pretty quick when the person on the other side of the counter is actually smiling and making conversation.

What is the name of your local John Deere dealer? Ya I know what your saying it doesn"t take much to pi$$ me R.T.F off when it comes to a parts man that acts like he"s doing me a favor for me to come in his store and spend my money . My favorite independent dealer just got sold to a mega dealer and there service changed about the day the take over happened and it"s still the same employees .

Bader and Sons. The parts manager at one location pizzed me off so bad I started going to another of their locations. Let's just say I gave up on the brand after a few years trying to deal with them.

Do you have a place like Motion Industries or a bearing sells shop. Try them. They have beat any ones prices.

Yes we have several places like that but I figured it would easier to just get em from agco buy the time I ran all over hell trying to match up the seals. I did that with bearings once ya I finally found em but I live about 70 miles from town so it's hard to run around and find parts
