I have always heard of them being called the bar or cutter bar but the Ford 515 operator's manual call that the knife and the part it runs on as per the book is the mower cutter bar. |

| knife back was what i always used to call them,i guess as long as were thinking the same thing,, Ive never had much luck welding one,but mine always broke close to the head and i never was much of a welder to start with. |

| Well I have welded many things from a beer can up to a big rig and so far all have held up as I needed them to but then again I have been welding for 40 or so years and did it as a job off and on |
