I picked up a JD plow That I would like to know what model # it is. The number on the one beam is 621. This is a 2 bottom and didnt have tape measure to know the width. |

| | I bought a plow exactly like that 2 weeks ago Wed. Its got a bad moldboard on front and needs 2 JD rolling cutters, as it has only one IHC one. Can I ask what you paid for yours. I paid $125 for mine |

| Farmallb dont get jealous! I paid $50. I had to cut a tree down that was in between the moldboards. I counted the rings on the tree and counted 46 so it was there a while. I was more worried about the front wheels since the were sunk down 4- 5 inches. the tail wheel was on a 6x6 concret block that was sunk down level with the ground. |

| I'll have to look again later today. This is a 2 bottom one way plow. Its on steel wheels and the trip is enclosed. Looks similar to my #52 but the hub caps are short and flat with a ring in the middle to protect the grease jerk. I'll see if I can get pictures on here later today also. Thanks For any help! I know tractors but plows and equipments are my down fall. |

|
| That looks like a later model 52 plow, given the enclosed clutch. |

| Could the number be 521? That beam was used on the No. 45C plow, a 2 bottom trailer plow but it should have an open clutch. Are the beams of the forged I-Beam cross section, or flat (rectangular) stock material? |

| I have seven different editions of the John Deere Plow Works Catalog. These were put out about every three years for the dealers use. They are something more than 1000 pages each and updated each time, but lots was not deleted so there is a wealth of information just waiting to be searched out. It can be confusing and sometimes contradictory, but much info is not (easily) available elsewhere. I also rely on my library of sales brochures and operator manuals, and last the note book I keep for quick reference. There are still lots of questions I can't answer, lots of guys on here are also good sources. |

|
| The GPA3 is a 1934 two way tractor plow available in 16" only and I would say 'rare'. That beam is also used on the A3, B3, G3, A1, and B1 integral tractor plows for the right hand beam up to 1937. Is your plow a two way plow (with a right hand and left hand bottom)? If so a measuring between beams won't tell the size. I'd like to hear more description or a picture. |
