I am considering getting one and know of a couple that will be available at the end of the year that I can afford. Normally they are priced high enough I could not think about getting one. I want to know the strengths and weaknesses of these and what I can expect when used in a minimum tillage system. I need to save more soil moisture prior to planting and reduce field passes. I do not have the money to learn from trial and error and do not have anybody I can talk to locally about one. |

| FWIW- JD never set the world on fire with their tillage implements. Don"t overlook short line versions of similar equipment. Most Corn Belt farmers use a disc chisel for primary tillage and a field cultivator with mounted tine harrow for final prep. |
