hi i have a JD forage harvester reverser, im guessing its from a 1960's model? im woundering what model harvester it would be from? and for a parts break down. the only I.D. i have are some casting stamps as follows... C291E...C305E...C257E...C290E...C289E. thanks if someone could help me.

| these were manufactured 1952-53 time frame. If you google john deere 72-74 ensilage harvesters there are a couple of operator and parts manuals listed, i just checked those out

| wow, thanks alot!!! this is a huge help! Iv'e tried to find info on this for a long time. I looked up the parts breakdown, and its exactly what i got. How do you even know this? It saves me a alot of grief! anyway thanks!!!

| 72 and 74 are the model numbers, it is in parts catalog pc 236 if you go to jdparts.com type in the catalog number and you can get the parts breakdown

as i am not familiar with harvesters, im going to do a search of JD harvesters manufactured during those years.
without a model number its impossible to get a parts breakdown of the reverser...
