Spike tooth cylinders are pretty common here, they work well in grass seed. The Massey is a rasp bar cylinder and 354 Perkins. I haven't really run the 2 together enough to compare. In spring barley they were pretty even, but in tough cutting winter oats the spike cylinder gave the White an advantage. Otherwise the larger width and turbo engine favours the Massey. The Massey has the better cab. The Massey was supposed to replace the White, which had some problems with the unloading auger and a lot of other issues. Since my son is now old enough to run combine I put him in the Massey and tuned up the White to where I can run it and start on wheat while he is doing grass. Now I have my pickup header fixed so we can run both in grass. [Reply]  [No Email]
